Elk it is whats for dinner

Tonight was my youngest son's Birthday. He could pick anything for dinner. He chose Elk steaks, cooked in Bacon Grease, with some Garlic salt. Also deep fried some onion rings and a couple of the steaks battered and deep fried. Mashed potato and gravy. Mmmm doesn't get any better.

Damn that does look good! Not that many people get on this page to enjoy some of this stuff. It looks like you cut up your own meat it is deboned in nice steaks.

We do cut up all of our meat. Completely remove all the white parts, tendon and fat. Most of our meat goes to burger. Most of the time it is deboned on the mountain.
