If you ever get a moose, that hamburger makes great meatloaf. For elk I would mix about 1/4 ground beef burger into it.
Mix in: 1 chopped onion, about a dozen chopped up mushrooms, two or three eggs, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 to 3/4 cups of Ketchup, some lawry's season salt, two small cans cream of mushroom soup. Stir it all up good and place in cooking pans and cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 for about 1 1/2 hours then suck out the greese at the bottom of the pans. Squirt a little more ketchup on top of the meat loaf and return to oven uncovered for another 15 minutes to 1/2 hour depending on how deep the meat loaf pan is. I sometimes throw in some ritz crackers or bread crumbs into the above mix. I just made myself hungry. Baked potato, corn or squash, and homemade bread. Now that's a fall dinner to sit down to.

I love the style Bucklover, I like what you said but, I would put the crackers in cause I like it that way. Can't wait to get some venison to give your recipe a try. Thanks Jim
