Congrats to the hunter! I am assuming this tag was at least filled legally. Anyone have pics?

Was the sportsman tag holder Kyle Ekker? I think it is ? If you go to Instagram theexperience_tv and see the bighorn.
 
I saw some pics that was one heck of a ram. I don't know a whole lot about scoring bighorns but it looked like it was worth pulling the trigger on.
 
Yes it looked really big . They even have a lot of video posted up of him . Any other spots your are seeing pictures of him? Or only on the one I posted above?

The rams measurements were 17" bases, 1st Qt 16, 2nd 14, 3rd 10.5 with a curl of 40.5 = gross of 196

I guess the "great guide" and "great hunter" were mediocre at best.

I don't mean to dig up old bones, but I guess this explains how someone can illegally kill an animal and not feel the least bit sorry for it, like in the case on the Nebo sheep incident. I guess it's easier to poach a sheep if you think it is "just a ram."

Again, that sheep is an awesome animal. A huge congrats to the hunter that did things the right way. Double bonus to kill a giant the right way.

That's a great feel good story after the other fiasco. I assume this guy is one of us "knuckleheads"? Damn fine job!
 
Mr. Ekkers ram was officially scored today at 194 3/8 making it the Number 2 all time Utah Rocky Mt Bighorn ram.

Not bad indeed. Very nice ram!
