Don, have you been able to have any contact with the parents? Wondering if there is someway a hunting organization (or a group of MM readers) could give the young girl some kind of positive feedback. Maybe we could all send you photos of our kids with their first deer, etc, that you could forward to the family and let the young girl see that it is OK to kill a deer. Just spitballing here, but more than making the school understand that this is unacceptable, it would be good if we can make a difference for the girl.

No doubt--this girl and family are Totally tired of all these ----Grand Standing types wanting Attention at her expense.

Can you imagine if a teacher in Utah bullied a 9-year old for a TOFU or PETA sweatshirt..?? It'd be on the news in a heartbeat. There'd be a public apology by the school district, and the teacher would be at a minimum "on leave" for further investigation, and at worst fired.
