Well, that giant buck in the high country photo was easily voted the best overall field photo, and because a photo can only win in one category, that opened up the best mule deer buck field photo and there were a couple I had to pick from based on votes here in the forums. Tough choice.
For all the other categories, forum voters had unanimously picked winners, so it was easy for me. All of the photos were sure good ones.

I can't help but feel slighted on the Hunt Adventure Challenge. :-( I thought for sure I was going to be in the top 2.

I had the most thread views by far. I had a ton of posts. And I spent 6 months posting it all up here on MM. Didn't even make the top 3. :-( :-(

Thanks to all those who followed my hunt all year. Besides the more than 6800 thread views here on MM, my videos accumulated 20,807 views on Youtube. Not bad for an amateur, hunting in a public area, DIY.

Fantastic trophies and great photos taken by everyone. What a tough job picking winners. Congrats to everybody that got to go out and take a trophy of their dreams last season. Can hardly wait for the first draws to start rolling in so we can see how this year unfolds.

Thank you so much for having such an awesome way share our stories. I thoroughly enjoyed reading everyone's stories, and looking at all of the photos. It's inspiring to read about everyone's seasons, and a joy to share in other's successes. I'm honored my HAC was selected as a finalist. 2016 was an amazing year, and I feel incredibly blessed to be able to share it with others. That said, I have huge plans for 2017 and have been exploring lots of new places since moving to Idaho. I'm finding there is more opportunity than what I will have time for. Can't wait to get it started.
