Vortex Extreme - Long Range Shooting/Endurance Event

Does this sound fun? Has anyone done this shoot in the past? How was it? Fun? I kick around doing it every year, but just don't have that much confidence in my shooting skills. Heck, 400 yards is about my max. I'd have to probably shoot much more than I do.

Vortex Optics invites your team of two to compete in the 2017 Vortex Extreme, an event designed to bring industry leaders and the public together for a day of hard-core shooting.
It's going to be physically challenging. It's going to test your long range shooting skills. And it's going to be hot! 65 teams of two dialing for distances. Scores will be based on course time and how well you shoot. No shooting benches allowed. Strong legs and lungs recommended.

Looks like a good time!

A good friend of mine won that shoot last year and walked away with a nice prize for doing it. IMO long range shooting is a blast... and if you like to compete there you go. I really hate running which is why I haven't done this shoot.

Running in a long range comp, that make sense.
