....to follow me around Boulder mountain this year for my Elk hunt. Does anyone do that kind of thing...? Any guys or companies you can recommend?
I'm thinking I could self-film it, but I would almost just rather focus on the hunt and experience while someone else captures it in the background.
Just would like to have a solid video to watch for years to come.
Thanks in advance!

Few people on Instagram do that type of stuff. Lot of them are based out of Utah....Dallas Hemeyer is a name I have seen often.

Buy a couple go pros and narrate as you go. A camera man adds a very difficult dynamic to a hunt and is one more person that can blow an opportunity.

Kelly from ivideowildlife (google search) seems to do a good job and he's a hunter/guide who would probably be more help than hindrance.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-14-17 AT 07:29AM (MST)[p]What hunt do you have on the boulder. If I had a schedule where I didn't just have weekends off I'd do it for you but I'd have to go back to work during the week and my guess that's when your going to kill. That's the unit I put in for and I know where some bulls are on that mountain. And I've killed bulls with a bow and videoed hunts and can call as well & have for friends when they have drawn tags. Congrats on an awesome tag make sure you post up the film after the hunt I'd love to watch it.

Thanks guys! I've got the archery tag... I'm so stoked!

The more I think about it, I see that this request may not work. I'm taking the whole hunt off and if I have to extend this into 2 or 3 or 4 weeks...I know that's likely not going to work with anyone else's schedule.

I like Wstrntines proposition....if I could kill him on a weekend, ha...I would. ??

I may just have to go the self-film route as best I can...

Good luck man I hope you get a slammer. Check out some of the head cams they make super easy to use. Or if you have a video camera you could get a solvid head mount for it. And you could pack a tripod and second camera if you're sitting a meadow and maybe get 2 different angles on the shot. And if it comes down to it and you can't get it on film just let it fly you can explain on video after the big boy's down. One thing that you have on your side is the amount of time you are able to spend. So reguardless you're gonna get some cool footage. May even get some bears on film. Also I'd recommend setting a good string of trailcams if you can. Hopefully this will get you excited.

Thanks Wstrn! Yep...I've got quite a few cams watching things.
PM me your number if you're willing. Would love to chat and share intel...
