Morgan-summit cow moose!

Well, I got lucky and drew a cow moose tag for the morgan-summit unit. Stoked to hunt moose for the first time!

I know this unit is mostly private land. I'll spend most of my time checking out the east canyon wma and the public forest land above hardscrabble/jacobs creek cwmus.

Anyone else have any suggestions on spots to check out?

Anyone have this tag the last couple years?

Any private land folks I should reach out to for access?

I'll take any recommendations. This should be a fun hunt with my kids.

East Canyon would be a hard hunt for kids. Only hiking in and fairly steep country. I'd go to the top of Farmington and work the back side around Hardscrabble like you've mentioned. I've seen plenty of moose up there, had a few very close encounters as well.
