Two 6 points out of one group. Public land Wyoming, OTC tag. 2 feet of snow day before, sunny to white out in no time. Bulls taken at same time, pictures taken about 25 minutes apart. Trail is way down there in the very bottom.

I got this antelope with a gun that I built. I used bullets I made and paper patched. I used a set of shooting sticks that I built.And last I built the knife I used to clean him with.

Big buck? Absolutely not. Big Memory? My mom's first deer and 175 yards with a muzzleloader. 4'8" of determination and no-quit.One of my favorite memories with my mom. She would love something like this...

I've been on a lot of great elk hunts, with several more in the near future, but this was probably my fastest, yet most memorable elk hunt I've been on. I hunted a grand total of 10 minutes. Then right after, my buddy shot another great bull from the same herd. Having my wife sitting next to me when I shot this bull made it that much better. southern Utah, August 2016
