Back Me Off to 1,700 Yards,650 is a Little Close & I'm Not Comfortable with it!

A GUT SHOT at 1,700 Yards will Still Make Some Good BRAGGIN Rights so I Can Say I At Least Hit Him!

How is it that in every surrounding state, the hunter orange requirement is minimal, if any at all, and you never hear of someone getting shot "accidentally"... but in tardville we end up with AT LEAST 1 guy getting shot every year? Are Utah people really that stupid? I deal with a ton of morons on the hill every year, but I just figured they were just attracted to my personality. But now I'm starting to think every unit in the state is swarming with idiots! What a bunch of ruhtards ??‍♂️?

They said on the news today that his own son shot him, thinking he was an elk in the brush.

In tardville, whatever isn't an orange pumpkin is a legimate target.

Not the truth, he was shot by someone assisting in finding a wounded elk. A lot of mistakes were made from what I gather and referring to all hunters as utards is cold blooded and shows a real lack of character. Obviously the man has a son and probably a family. Perhaps a little empathy and word of caution for others is more appropriate in this situation.

Give it a rest...real people and a tragic situation. Everyone makes dumb mistakes. Reality is most get away with it.
