That being said, I love Savage rifles, Especially the 116 Weather Warrior.

Nothing much ever came of the ordeal, no settlement, no telling me to shut up. I sent the rifle to Savage in exchange for a new one. Never heard another thing. Im not the type to sue. The best part of the whole thing is I sent an email to Burris to see if the scope was under warranty, kinda jokingly. They sent me a voucher for 50% off any scope and then sent me a new scope. I never used the voucher, a little overkill.

It took a lot of rounds out of a 22 lr to learn not to flinch, actually worked out pretty good, learned a lot about breathing, trigger control and follow through while shooting. Im a pretty good shot now.

Not really sure, didn't have many rounds through it, wasn't my hand loads. Bullet exited the barrel, the barrel could have been mounted on a new action, nothing wrong with the barrel. I had Oakley glasses on thank God, I would not have a left eye if I was not wearing them. I was pissed at Savage because of how they responded when I first called them. So I hammered them on the web which caught their attention. I will not bash Savage, I think they make great rifles. I played a game of target golf with my 110 BA .308 last weekend, had a great round.

I only use hand loads, have for 35 years. If I remember correctly 180 barnes, moly coated, 2 grains under max per the barnes book.

Blows my mind to see people shooting without eye and ear protection. Guess some are too cool for that. Glad you had the eye protection on.

It's like people riding around in a rocket in wheels and the complete refusal to wear a seat belt despite clear and convincing data about death and belt usage.
