Jungle fowl is one of the most common animals in the jungle. It is not much different from normal chiken except the size. Jungle fowl is much smaller than chicken but when eaten, it is much more delicious and firmer. Jungle fowl has become the main food for arboriginal people living in the jungle.

Arboriginal Professional jungle fowl trap
Arborigines has a simple but effective jungle fowl trap as follow:

Choose a firm and 2m length tree branch with good elasticity so that it can be bent or straightened. Tie a string to one end and attach the other end to the ground.

You need a stick ?that is known as the pin of the trap?. Tie the string to 2 end of the stick, one end is fixed and the other is movable. That will become a lasso tightening the animal when it fall into the trap.

Drop the lasso near the ground and hold it by some firm sticks with pins.

When the jungle fowl fall into the lasso, its reaction will move the stick out of the pin. Thank to the bounce of the tree branch, the string will be tightened so that the prey can not escape.
To attact the jungle fowl, you need to prepare its favourite food - it is earthworms. After found earthworms, just put them near the trap so that jungle fowl can eat and be trapped.

You can reused the trap later.

If you want to know more clearly about traping method, watch the following video:

2. Wild jungle fowl baking method
Let's learn the special baking method of arboriginal Vietnamese without using seasoning or kitchen stuffs.

After hunting a jungle fowl, a arboriginal man found cley beside the stream, and pack the jungle fowl. Packed the entire body of the jungle fowl closedly and uniformly to be well cooked and delicious.

You should cook on fire to well and quickly bake the entire food from inside to outside. Baking time is from 1 hour to 2 hours depending on the heat.

After the time, you have a wonderful clay wrapped baked jungle fowl.

Good luck with this simple but great jungle fowl trapping method. Enjoy this food in your own way.

Pretty interesting. Thanks.

I like the Costco method. $4.99 already cooked.

LAST EDITED ON Dec-22-17 AT 01:11PM (MST)[p]I was most impressed with the process of removing the meat from the bones. Those gentlemen are obviously eating for nutrition. Like homer eats lamb chops........ at the Star Hotel! Dispatches the bones the same way, I expect. :D

Welcome to this Camp-Fire Ricky, you are welcome here with this band of misfits and pirates anytime. We enjoy folks who make a great contribution to the culture on their first visit. Please call again, you're clearly one that will find a happy home here.

Thanks foe sharing, this week we learned a new way to catch chickens, sell GPS coordinates, and a new way to get tossed out of the Club House. Life is good at Christmas!

I meant to say "this band of misfits and primates"

You mean Ricky was a one and doner ........... I feel so ashamed.

Used and discarded........ discarded like the leg bone of a jungle chicken, I call foul.
