3,000 Yard Stabilized Rangefinder??? 3,000 yards! How many of you need to range something at 3,000 yards? I would imagine its got to be for shooting, right? Just crazy to think someone can shoot accurately enough at that range to even do it. I'm sure it's fun to be able to shoot that far though.
400 is still a stretch for me.

I had and needed a laser range finder on my M60A2 Tank during my time in the U.S. Army 1977-1980. If zeroed correctly with range finder and computer you were guaranteed a 1st round hit at that range and beyond. 1st Battalion 37th Armour "Courage Conquers".

I found with range finders you need something to go to 3000 yards reflective if you want to get a range on 1500 non reflective.

But ya, 500 yards is my max

One could it for an easy stalk on a bedded game way out. Use the range finder and compass. Plug those into your GPS to create a very accurate point on where game is bedded. Makes for an easy stalk even if you are coming in at an angle you won't see the game until your right up on it. Things can look a lot different after swinging around and stalking game from another direction.

3,000 Yard Stabilized Rangefinder??? I could probably live without one. It might be handy now that I'm older. I could turn around and see how far away the truck is. "Oops, time to head back before it gets dark!" :D

IN V Nam in 1968 in the bush, we had a person called a FORWARD OBSERVER. He could call in air strikes or 155mm . Maybe the rich could use one and rich over hills past the 3ooo yd hale marry shot.

Like eel, but I use mine for the restrooms on the golf course. I range one against the other, which ever is closer, I make a clinching dash for

Over the years, accurate ranging has saved a lot of Depends.
