Is there a way to get in if you are not a dealer / distributor? Haven't figured that out yet.

If you know someone that is a dealer or distributor. You can usually have them get you a pass. If I remember correctly they cost about 50 bucks each. It's been a few years since I have been. Differently cool to be there seeing the latest and newest gadgets out. All so some great folks from the hunting and shooting industries.

My schedule doesn't allow me to be there this year but I'll have a booth next year!

Don't take my word for it but.............I hear you can add a photo of yourself and a name that matches your drivers license, have a FedEx Office laminate for you, carry a camera with a long lense.
Ask the gate keeper where the NRA Booth is, tell him you're running late, he'd invite you right in. It's a matter of simple courtesy.
I heard it'll work for the Crye party too.

Don't know if I have an in this year. Actually going for a work purpose this year and not simply for fun with the guy I'd been going with. I'll still be trying to get to that party (and a few others as well!) though.
