I bought some Binoculars today with my birthday money I put down 150 dollars for some leopold mckenzie 8x42 power bx1 th ey have bak 4 prisms 100% waterproof they were 139.99 $ it came upto 149.58$With tax did I get I good deal? Any body ever used leopold mckenzies?

First You need to know how to spell LEUPOLD before using them!

Cam, I think you'll be very pleased with the Leupold over the Bushnell. If you're happy with the binos then the rest doesn't matter.

I've always had good luck with my Leupold binos. For the price, I think you'll be pleased with your McKenzies.

There are better deals out there on them, as stated above, but if you like them, you got a good deal! This type of binocular is good for using from a blind or still hunting when you just need to verify what you are looking at. If that is all you need, you will be happy with them. At some point, you might consider investing in some better ones. They will make a noticeable difference at dawn and dusk. But you will have to probably triple your investment, so for what you spent, you got a decent pair

Good little set of binos . You'll like em they'll do the job. Personally,I'd take the vortex,but either way, enjoy them.
 
You should have held out for the player here in R&D for a new bino company.

Leupolds customer service is great too. They'll work well peeking in BESS's windows at distance.
