I am thinking (probably invented already..) that there needs to be an ammo holder for a stock, that has a clear slot on the inside where a guy can put a drop chart. Laminate and tape works, but kinda not.

Do they make it? If not, have the idea and send one to me.

The drop chart idea seems kind of obsolete to me.

With the scopes today, you either have marks or circles to identify yardage, or combined with a range finder that indicates holdover and shoot to range.

My Nikon has the circles. Sighted in at 200 yards with certain settings, I know what each circle is to 600.

For people who are shooting beyond that, I would think they would have an adjustable turret anyway, so there is no holdover.

At under 400, most modern cartridges don't require much for holdover anyway, at least not much that can't be memorized with evena small amount of practice.

All of my scopes have knobs. My charts are from 350 to 900....25 yd increments. All in MOA.

Maybe i just need a Nikon.

I mis understood what you originally wrote.

I was thinking of the old "how high do I need to hold over to hit the target" type question, rather that an actual MOA adjustment on the scope.

In that case, my first reply is moot. Have a good day.

Exactly. Someone must make one....i used to keep my chart on my phone (took too long) kept it in my pocket (ripped and faded) laminated, fell off.
