Looking into possibly going all out and splurging to go on a guided multi day goose/duck hunt this season. My son and dad would likely go as well, possibly my brother and my nephews. Anyone have any experience on high quality guided goose hunts ( honkers preferred ). We can travel north of the border if needed - I hear Alberta is awesome... Thx

Sask. or Alberta are hard to beat. For my money traveling north for geese would have to include white geese because of the limits and the numbers.

Dark geese only? I have never done it.

For a mixed bag and the chance to spend the afternoons hunting ducks or fishing for trophy Walleyes and Northerns, here is a guy we have went with.

They will put you on geese for sure but mostly light geese.

Your mileage may vary.

Thanks. I should add December and Jan dates work for me so that may change the location as they migrate south.

Shoot me an email ([email protected]) or PM, I have fully guided goose hunt in Montana off the Bighorn River...5 dark geese a day. I have openings in mid December. Lodging included, clients cook their own food in the lodge and buy their own licenses. Expect to see several thousand dark geese in morning and several thousand in the evening. Can also hunt pheasants or turkeys if you limit out in the morning. Will be the cheapest per day goose hunt you will find as we are building it up the right way. 3 day minimum, thanks!!!

Can't beat what 30Hart is offering that is a swinging deal.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-22-18 AT 08:03PM (MST)[p]Right now, this years price 150 a day per person, 3 day minimum for 4-6 guys. This hunt is for guys that like to call and like to pitch in and set decoys and brush blinds. Really looking for guys that want to come up every year and treat it like a guided lease. That way same guys and price can stay reasonable. Please call or email for specifics. I hate bird hunting but it's so good I take the son in law up every year. Only have one opening this year left between 10-15 Dec. Next year is wide open except for my time slot.

Not sure where you are from but I know an awesome outfitter here in wyoming. The limit is 4 honkers a day with great pits and also some times ducks. If interested I would give out the information. They limit out almost all the time.

Go to New Zealand...unlimited bag limit on Canadian Geese...definitely get a sore shoulder.....

Ranchland Outfitters in Elk Point Alberta. Just got back about 6 weeks ago. Just amazing seeing 10K geese flying over head in the morning. Rob and his guys work their butts off to get you on geese.
