Where would you buy a ranch for hunting?

I love Wyoming for it's lack of people and conservative politics, but I'd buy where the hunting was without compare.
Not exactly sure...

What say you?

Central Montana. Around the breaks. Elk, mule deer, whitetail, antelope. And everything else.

I'd shop Colorado.

With the prize currently at $1.6 BILLION, I would buy a hunting ranch in each of the states mentioned above.

Hate what liberals have done to the state, but that probably is the best option for Mega Muleys.

If I had mega millions I wouldn't need my own ranch to satisfy my hunting desires. That kind of wealth would allow a guy to go anywhere and hunt anything he wanted. That said, I'd still buy a hunting concession in Northern BC, for a tax write off, and then I could hunt sheep, moose, bear or goats every year, or better yet, take a friend on a hunt that he's never experienced. That would be fun.

I think the OP meant 1 place to buy and hunt.

I'm going to central Montana as well. All games to be played there.

Ricky?s old ranch got mostly broken up and sold off a few years back.

+1 on a small ranch in each state mentioned.
I would also walk into next years Expo with the biggest smile you will ever see.

I'm sure I could find a ton of state land in Utah they'd sell me. :-D Maybe I could buy the Book Cliffs.

However, in truth, I'd buy a ton of ranches with that kind of money. One in every western state (Not CA). I'd run them as charities of some kind, like the hunts they give to kids with disabilities or terminal illnesses and their families.

Or maybe I just open some of them up and let the public go in.

Better get good insurance

Maybe they would let me buy the entire Gila forest here in my State of NM and I would have all the Gila monsters to myself because I'm tired of waiting to draw a damn tag. LOL

Without question it would be Colorado about 50,000 acres big house horse barn and elk deer and game as far as you can see

Then I would buy a big ranch in Nevada for hunting big Mulies

You know Beanman that is the place. I know it well as I hunted all around it with my Uncle back in the 90's

We shot some big Muley's on that mountain. Top of the Monument

Wyoming is home and it'll always be that way. And I'd buy a big place - for sure.

But I would also hunt other states and provinces. I'd be a regular on some of the quality hunts available.

But the #1 thing I'd do is make sure my family has about 90% if I had own that big pot.
