old mount

I found this old mount in a local antique shop, they said an old guy killed it in 1986 in CO. Looks like its been in a garage for a while. I'm not sure of the score, but almost 5" on all circumferences. 32 4/8 wide. What do you think it scores and would it be worth anything?

LAST EDITED ON Dec-02-18 AT 03:14PM (MST)[p]I woulda guessed it older than 86, but maybe it was his first attempt at mounting a head. To be worth much it would need to be remounted IMO. Now yer down another $800.

Are you sure it wasn?t 1966 ? That mount looks a lot older then 1986. I wouldn't even call 1986 old. ?

He is north of 200" gross. hell of a find, how much did it cost you to get from the antique store?

I have no idea what it could be worth but its a cool find either way.

spectacular antlers, but poor taxidermy work.

It would look great with a new cape on a new form.

I paid $200. My rough score was 205 using the B&C website, but I rounded down to the nearest half inch, it could be a few inches bigger.

I think I'm going to take the skull plate off and hang it in my cousins guest trailer in MT for a conversation piece. I can only imagine how many BS stories will be spun about how he was killed in the spot that a guest will be hunting the next day.
