So here's my plan for this year. Unit 112 for antelope then unit 102 for deer followed by unit 32 for elk. We got Max points for all three so there's a decent chance to draw them all. Hunt until all tags are filled then get out of of Wyomings point game.

What say you?

Sounds like a great time!! I don't believe you need max points for antelope unit you speak of though.

Good luck to you.

No way I would waste max points on all three species in one year because you're not going to be able to do justice to all of them for what you have invested!

>You kidding? Plenty of time to
>have an epic hunt on
>all 3.

To each his own, but unless he has a couple months to spend out there doing it like I have ever Fall I'd do elk one year and maybe a deer/antelope combo one year. IMHO trying to put all the dates and seasons together in one year would be tough, but if it were with all those max points I'd take more than one year to really enjoy them.

Awesome plan. 3 good hunts, a plan in place, and the fact youbknow where you go next year and when! I have no clue.

If you have the time and that's the way you want to play it than do it. Sounds like an unbelievable adventure! Cant wait to hear how it turns out.

I'm with you on the part about getting the licenses and getting out of the point game.

My son and I have around 8-10 points on deer, elk and Antelope so in a couple more years we plan to do what you are talking about.

Good luck let us know how it went and how much time you were able to spend on each species

I got to tell ya I did 6 hunts one year drove to 5 states the 2 on horseback hunts I pulling a horsetrailer full of Mules and horses, hunted 3 deer tags 2 elk tags. Plus my trip home for Pheasants and I was one diesel poor guy that year and one beat up hunter with only short breaks in between hunts. None of the hunts was same season and same time. The last 2 hunts wasn't as fun as a person would think. Here the states I did.
Wyo,Utah,NM,AZ,SD
So make sure you are ready for the grind.

It sounds like one heck of a good hunt to me. I am thinking of doing the same in Colorado. Good luck on your trifecta

I am afraid that may be tough. I would go with elk 1 year, then deer and lopes the next, but thats just me. But maybe it maybe fine. Seems like you could ware yourself out fast. But if you go, then have a blast.

I AM WITH ROBILAND ON THIS TRIP. TO DO JUSTICE ON ALL THREE HUNTS, YOU MIGHT WANT TO SPACE THEM OUT. IF YOUR TIRED AND A BIT WARN OUT YOU MAY NOT ENJOY EACH AS MUCH.......I WOULD DO THE ELK ENDEAVOR BY ITS SELF. YOU MIGHT GET THE MOST ENJOYMENT OUT OF EACH THIS WAY.

GOOD LUCK ON ALL THREE...........YD.

Easily do-able as long as you're not too picky and have all of September and October to hunt. Bring your bow. I think you're crazy to try all 3 the same year, though. You could have 3 awesome adventures if you did it over a 3-year period. Hell I live here and still don't know if I'd want to attempt it, but I can be a little picky, too. Had the 32 tag last year. A resident drawing all 3 tags would be pretty hard with the draw odds as they are. Good luck to ya though! Gotta draw the tags first!
