Can?t wait to see what tag Heather Farrar draws this year in the completely ?random? expo drawing! I figure she's about due for a OIL tag... my guess is a sheep ?

John bair is about due for another tag as well!

I'm sure there will be a few other frequent flyers of the successful applicant list that get super lucky, again for the 3rd-6th time! Good luck to everyone who enters! Hopefully they have a few tags left over for you after they pay out on the favors they owe their friends

I think I am due. I have paid for two of my kids Expo tags. It's got to be my turn. ????? Especially since I am going alone this year. My Daughter got asked to the prom. See said dad I am going to tell him no ! It's the same day as the Expo. ???

There obviously needs to be some verification to this process. I would imagine there are laws that govern drawings, money making programs....right?

State attorney general, better business bureau, etc?

Through the freedom of information act, you can get damn near anything to get people uncomfortable enough to legitimize anything. Believe me.

I dont plan to...as I am not worried about it.

My only point was that a person could force more transparency through being a pain in the a@* through those types of ways.

So first they take bucks, bulls and OIL tags from the public draws and now they are taking antlerless tags too! Where is this ##### gonna end?? Next they will add swan, sandhill crane and sage grouse tags to the list!

On a side note, they really don't have too many ?great? tags this year on their theft list. Are they auctioning all the better tags off? Or are our better hunts actually pretty rough shape and not many tags will be given out this year? ?

JakeH, already tried that. Unlike past years, it appears you can view the list only if you're able to apply for the permits (and thus already have a valid Utah hunting license). But I'm not buying my license until later, near the regular app deadline. If I could attend the expo this year, I'd buy it now and apply. But thanks to a fellow MM'er who graciously sent me screen grab of the list yesterday.

Shaun, they have a SHIZZZZ load that they are auctioning off. They have tags that are being auctioned off Every night of the EXPO. And yes, that is pretty lame to take antlerless tags out of the general draw to add to this crap hole, then to turna round and auction off more tags. All about tthe money.

Hope those who apply enjoy paying $FW?s ?administrative expenses?.
Last year there were approx 284,000 applications for the 200 tags.
I've already seen the expo from Instagram and I didn't even have to pay nor leave my house! Go figure

It was SSSSOOOOOOO GGGGAAAAAYYYYYY. I literally watched like 1 minutes and turned it off. Seriously? People think these guys are the GODS OF HUNTING. The funny thing will be the Mtn Ops exercise orgy tomorrow morning at the gym.

All the photos I'm seeing and short clips are reminders that it's not worth it to me. Just my opinion.

As always, I'll be interested in total application numbers and attendee totals once it's over.
This weather alone is enough to keep me home.

There were two multi-season Oak Creek tags auctioned off this year at the expo. Last year only one of those tags were available through the draw to us minions. I think that is a little disproportionate.

Yeah, I am one of them. I ran into Eric Chesser on the extended hunt several years ago. He was a way cool, down to earth guy and we talked for a while, he asked to trade #'s so that we could work with each other while hunting. SO I have followed him for years. ITs fun to see the crazy things they do. Cool to tsee the animals they get. But I do feel insta-heros have ruined the sport of hunting.
