NEW MEXICO TOP PREDATOR 2011

OK so this year is going to be PRETTY tough. in the great state of New Mexico i had the pleasure of applying in this years draw. sadly i only had the funds to put in for one hunt. that hunt will be in November for deer in unit 17 if i have the luck it takes to draw.

on my schedule for this year i am planning on quite a bit of coyote calling, fishing. also some turkey hunting, the deer hunt i mentioned before, and maybe some land owner elk and antelope tags.

i hope to bring you plenty of action packed photos, video, and stories. good luck on your hunts this year stay sharp and shoot straight.

today in Socorro county in has been very very windy, but i was able to get done with chores early and beat the wind to a near by drainage ditch. i planned for a bit of bow fishing. surre enough there was quite abit of carp in the area and i hit them hard. by the time the wind started up i had already taken 6, 20-28 inch carp. well the wind is up now so ill have to hold off the hunting till tomorrow.
i may be running up to albuqureque later this afternoon to get some new arrows and maybe some turkey calls. i have the OTC spring turkey hunt coming up on the 15th so hopfully i can get some good pics. i have a freind who knows a camera guy so maybe we can get together and make some good footadge of some beautifull wildlife.

i will post up some pics later today of the catch this morning and maybe some song-dog kills from earlier this year.
