I just noticed the new forum and thought I would post some pics from my first safari with Reveille in Namibia. My wife and I took a 14 day safari for a Leopard & plains game. We hunted extremely hard for the leopard but in the end were unable to connect, but we did take 13 animals thoughout the trip. We did have one of the best hunts of our lives and enjoyed spending time with our new friends the Jansens who own & operate Reveille. WE have our next trip booked for nov 2012 in Mozambique for 2 Buffs, Sable, Nyala, Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Lichtenstein's hartebeest, and maybe a hyena, croc or hippo. We are also planning to take our boys to Reveille in 2013 for plains game.

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. Namibia is on my list but I have got to go to Zim or somewhere for a Buff first.

WOW......NICE PICS........ALL THIS AFRICA BUSINESS IS REALLY TAKING A TOLL ON ME.......I GOTTA GO.

IT LOOKS WIFE THE WIFE & ANOTHER COUPLE MIGHT GO AS WELL. THEY HAVE TO HAVE A TOP NOTCH PLACE WITH A GREAT VIEW, AS THEY WILL SPENT A LOT OF TIME IN CAMP DOING R&R.....ANY SUGGESTIONS.....THANKS....YD.

The bungalows & main lodge @ reveille + some sights. We took Blue bags for SCI Humanitarian services. Women who choose not to hunt will have plenty of sights to see just driving around.

I met the folks at Reveille a few years ago at DSC. They seemed like great people, and I came very close to booking a hunt with them. I was trying to add a short trip to Namibia onto a Zim elephant hunt, and in the end I couldn't make the schedule work with Reveille and went elsewhere. Looking at your pictures reminds me of what I missed. (Even though I had a great hunt on another rnach in Namibia.)
Great post. Someday I hope to visit Namibia again and Reveille will be high on my list to consider.

Dlove,
Looks like you and your wife had a fantastic trip.

I see you killed some of your game with your bows. How is Reveille set up for bow hunters? Do they have pit blinds on water, or just spot and stalk? I'm just starting to look into my first Africa trip which will be a bowhunt for plains game.

They have bow blinds set-up on water. You could also do spot and stalk. We had planned on doing more with our bows, but spent so much time trying for the leopard we wanted to see more country.
