while were on the subject of jackalopes I wanna ask you tiny 10 freakazoids out there if this is a big duiker. long story short is that I ended up passing this little guy and I die laughing every time she shows this stupid picture off to anyone. I just cant quit laughing at two needles on a rabbit being bragged about lol.

Looks like a good one to me.I feel the same way though a rabbit with horns at best.My son will shot one next trip because he wants one but I would only try if I can take one with my bow. Those grey duiker or what ever there called for 300.00 why not.Would never pay the thousands some of this guys pay to shoot rabbits and hamsters with horns. Can shoot another kudu for what some of them cost.

Tony, He would look great in that "Big Croc" or "Leopard's" mouth your going to shoot this year!

BTW...Great photo of the family!

Yes Stinky. That is a great Duiker. In fact that is the Stinkystomper of all Duikers only difference is Duikers don't get that big by being stupid. :)

Just giving you a hard time because of your attitude about the tiny's. I really enjoy chasing those tiny Antelope.

I'm sorry. I know its you guys passion and all but I just can't help but laugh. I saw other duikers and thier horns were sticking up just like that little guys horns. my ph showed me several and then we saw that one. He gaged on something he was eating when he saw it originally he told me. Everytime he talks about that duiker he starts cussing describing the size. I honest to god can't tell the difference between those pencil's and the pencil's on a small duiker. They are all just small to me. I really can't get into duiker hunting. I might take a like to shooting a dike or two but not a duiker.

That is an exceptionally large duiker. I've shot a couple, and appreciate them for what they are. They don't get me super excited, but finding an exceptional specimen of any wild game is noteworthy. They do make an attractive mount and it is fun to compare them to an eland, for example. Truth is I am more likely to shoot another duiker than another elend, but who knows?

It is kind of like guys getting excited about the difference between a 9" mountain goat and a 10" mountain goat. That is a huge inch to guys interested in score, but to the average hunter they look about the same. I'll still be happy to hang my goat on a 10" mountain goat when I get the chance.

You start gambling and take a shot at one of them dike and miss you could get your wife eaten alive.Stick with the rabbits with horns or you may have trouble you can not get out of.
