Random trophies - Last few trips

Here's a sampling of various trophies from my last trips to Namibia and Zimbabwe. We will be returning to Namibia again this coming May 2012 to hunt with our friends again, and have my son and daughter-in-law film the hunts. Gonna drag Predator (Lisa) back with us, to live the high life!

Will try to put a bunch of plains game on later this evening.

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Those are all on my list. I really like bushbuck but buff is my dream hunt. I got a Cape Bushbuck this year and would like to add the others at some point. I would like to go to Namibia once in my life as well but a Cape Buff is consuming me right now.

Thanks for sharing the photos. I am currently thinking about taking two of my girls hunting next spring break. Some kids go to the coast... mine will go to Africa.

Thanks Blank; as I said on my hunt report, your stories from past hunts helped me decide to go.

You are right, it's good to take your wife. My wife is on board with us going back. She is already preparing her hit list!

He enjoys torturing me!!! Usually I do nothing but think about mulies, elk and speedgoat. Now all I think about is kudu, black wildebeest and gemsbok.

Instead of shooting arrows at Lee Kay I'm practicing putting my rifle on sticks in the basement.

I even recognized a damn gerenuk on AFV tonight!!!

Then I remembered that I really do have an antelope tag to worry about. .....

Blank knows I'm an addict, he's just become my drug dealer.

Pred...I'm actually worried about you. If/when you go to Africa you will never be the same, don't know if you can handle it.

On second thought you will fit right in and do well.

Wow, monster eland, hartebeast and springbuck by my eye. That springbuck must be very high up in the books. Super good eland too. How long?

Good eye for trophies and size. The springbok was #10 for rifle when I entered it, dropped to about #14 now, and I passed up a better one to let the other client have a whack at him! Leopard, hartebeest, and blue wildebeest are all top 30. African wildcat is #6. To be truthful, the eland hunt was trophy enough and I nevered entered it. Largest body they ever killed, and took about 6 of us to load it. Not sure how big it is?

Waiting and enjoying the hunt prolongs the excitement and allows you to look over, and pass on, many trophies that others would take immediately. That lets you kill some big ones. I've gotten to the age that pulling the trigger on an empty chamber on a trophy is ALMOST as good as shooting it.

I think this next trip in May will be for the muzzleloader, and we will probably shatter some records!

Practiced with real bullets today. I take it working the bolt while trying to stay on the sticks is unrealistic.....

Figured with my skill with the White, you better bring the 300 WSM just to try to keep up! Watching all the DVD's of this past seasons hunts right now. WOW!!!!! How's your lip feel? Are you ever gonna be hooked for life, when we get you there
