I think I got a pretty nice Blesbuck on my trip to So. Africa a couple years back. Does anyone have a SCI Book that can tell where a 47 4/8 Blesbuck stands? Thanks for the help.

That is indeed a pretty nice blesbok, and above average. Should be around 17" long and good mass?

I only have the older Editions #11 and #12, but it will be ranked about 40 in SCI.

Congratulations on a fine Blesbok. You should be able to go the SCI website and at least get info on the top ten for each species without being a member.
Remember SCI is very different than B+C, and there can be multiple animals in the book with the same score. This doesn't take anything away from the fine animal you harvested, just don't think they are similar systems. SCI animals don't have to be taken by fair chase, either, so some farm raised and fed animals end up in the top slots in their book. Makes it tough to really understand how your blesbok stacks up compared to other free ranging animals.

17 & 6 5/8 on one and 17 2/8 & 6 5/8 on the other. I tried their web page and could only find out what level it fell in. (Gold, Silver, Etc.)Do you have to join the club first to enter a trophy?

You can join when you enter, if that helps. You must be a member in order to enter something into the record book. Hope that helps.

My 1980 SCI Book states that at 47-4/8" would tie for 9th place back then. Congrats to you on a fine trophy.
