Congrats, best of luck on the hunt. Now all the anticipation really builds. Time to pack, re-pack, try stuff on, buy new stuff, hide new stuff from the wife, and shoot-shoot-shoot to get ready!

Hunting with my good friend Andre Viljoen. (www.besthunt.co.za).

This will be my fourth trip with him. I've been a booking agent for him since 1998 and have sent many folks from our area. I've got a bit of commission built up and we decided to go this year.

I talked myself out of Buff the past 4-5 years but my $$ situation has improved the last couple of years.

Not quite sure where we'll go. Andre has a PH school and is constantly meeting new land owners every time he has a class. More than likely it'll be in RSA. He used to hunt Mozambique, but that piece changed hands and he lost his contact.

I don't need any new stuff. Going to take 'Uncle Bill' the rifle my uncle bought in 1963. Browning safari grade .375 H&H. I've used it on zebra, eland, elk and a few other good sized critters with good results.

Cancelled the trip this past week. Wine harvest is going to be even earlier than last year and we'll be picking in August. Going to move the trip to July 2016 to cut the anxiety factor down.
