LAST EDITED ON Aug-10-11 AT 10:07PM (MST)[p]Thought I'd throw in a couple of my mounted trophies. Just looking at them on the wall brings back a whole flood of memories!

What can you do with a tuskless elephant? I decided to have the entire thing skinned and tanned, then we upholstered a chair and ottoman for me to watch my weekend hunting shows.

The wife worked a ton of overtime to help me afford this one. Just beautiful, and a life size leopard is the only way to go.

Great buffalo mount and really captured the look and muscle structure of a big bull.

My smallest and prettiest mount; a free-standing pedestal that swivels to fit anyplace I'd like to put him.

Everyone feel free to add some of their own trophy room pics for people to see.

Those are some great pic's; thanks for posting them. You have a great wife, to send you on a leopard hunt.

If you had to choose one favorite animal you hunted, what would it be?

Those are really nice mounts. I especially like the leopard and bushbuck. That elephant char is great, wish I'd done something like that with my ears.

I think that hunting tuskless ele's is my absolute favorite thing to do. Would do it every year for the rest of my life, if I could afford it. :) I've hunted a lot of critters in many states and areas, but nothing has thrilled, fascinated, or terrified me as much as elephant hunting. Sneaking in to very close range on a herd of cows has to be the dumbest thing we have come up with yet, outside of bungy jumping!!!!!

Here's another thing I did to add some spice to a guest bedroom. Seems like you always accumulate a lot of backskins and pieces, and they come together in a very nice rug. Have an elephant ear mounted on 5/16" hardboard there one the wall, and a friend who is an artist will paint my Big Three on it sometime.
