My daughter will graduate in 2 years and she wants to go to Africa on a hunt. She may use rifle but shoots a bow and I bowhunt. The rest of the family may go also.Looking for a PH that handles these type of hunts.

Contact Stuart at Melorani outfitters, my son graduated this year and we went bowhunting at Melorani. Booked through Neil Summers of bowhunting safari consultants which I highly recommend. Feel free to contact me with any questions, we had a marvelous hunt

If you are willing to use a rifle go to Blaauwkrantz, trip of a lifetime. Not a good place for bow hunting however. All spot and stalk, no water holes, so it is perfect for rifle or muzzleloader.

Also look at African Arrow Safaris which is operated by Harry Nels. Great outfit. The reviews on bowsite.com speak for themselves. Great family run outfitt with exceptional trophy quality. Archery ONLY concessions with attention to detail shown throughout your entire stay. TJ

My buddy went with African Arrow last year and had a tremendous trip. Shot 9 animals or so and said he would go bad in the blink of an eye.

I recommend Gers Safari's. http://www.gerssafaris.com/
They have plenty of what they refer to as "hides" just for bow hunters. Give them a call or email, fantastic folks, reasonably priced, fantastic accommodations and food and the game is top-notch

Limcroma has a good reputation, although I don't know them personally. Several of the outfits listed on this thread also have great reputations. I know people who have hunted with three of them, and have heard good reports on others. Do your own research, and demand references from anyone you are seriously considering. Then CALL the references. While it is obvious you won't hear awful reviews from the references, you can still learn a lot about the outfit. Learn how they hunt (on fooot, by truck, in blinds, etc.) and get a description of the average day. All these outfits will have decent animals, but the quality of the hunt and the expereince should be your goal. This does vary widely among outfits.

I would highly recommend you go with Dumukwa Safaris. They are in the limpopo province. I have hunted with them twice, and have had 8 other friends that have hunted with them as well. They are excellent. On both trips I hunted with a bow and also hunted with a rifle. They have some great blinds to hunt from and the trophy quality of their animals is exceptional. I took my wife on the second trip and she felt completely safe with dumukwa, they took great care to make her comfortable. The accomidations are amazing and the food is outstanding. They also have some great packages that will allow you to hunt multiple animals for a very competitive price. You can find their information at www.dumukwa.com feel free to email me if you have any questions. I have some great video footage of the area, animals and some great kills on dvd. I will try to get them up here.

Did you ever decide anything about Limcroma? I know it's been a while since you posted this. I just won a ten day hunt with them in a raffle at our local SCI chapter banquet Saturday night for 2012 or 2013. Anyone have any intel on them? I'm going to call them over the weekend. Anything anyone has heard about them is appreciated. Thanks
Bret
