The Nyala was by far and away one of my top priorities. A lifesize for sure. I am ecstatic for this one.
The Blesbuck was an animal that I actually had not planned on taking but after seeing hundreds of them and chasing them around for a couple of days I just had to do it.
The Impala is Africa to me. It just represents what Africa is. We saw hundreds of them and set a priority to take this great ram who had a harem of 50 or so ewes and smaller rams with him. They are so pretty and petite.
The Black Wildebeest, what can I say. A face only a mother would love. Found it very interesting to see the hair on their faces always standing up and the white whiskers coming out of his nose.
My first trophy taken in Africa with a borrowed rifle, wearing an Eddie Bauer shirt, Levi's and my Dr. Martens' since all of my gear and rifle were lost.
