Dead-on, Baby!

Little sis cleared out the rest of the targets with little brother's help. Sis hit the most- lefthanded even (she's left eye dominant so she has to shoot lefty)

K3 needed a little help

Mostly he just threw rocks though-

The little bucks were priming up for the rut-sparring quite a bit.

All in all- a very fun day!

Cool Pics and looked like a fun day...Wondering? Did you teach them how to pick up all that broken glass from the beer bottles or did you teach them how to leave it there?

Come on trophyhunter - don't you realize that we are teaching them to leave archaeological evidence of our civilization for future generations?? LMBO!!

Give it a rest. This forum is about kids and the outdoors, if you want to start a debate about ethics, please take it to one of the other forums, there is plenty of that there.

Congrats on the new NUG K1!! Good shooting brother/sister combination.

Like others have said, looks like fun. Looking forward to taking my son sight in his.

Not trying to tell you how to teach your kids just suggesting different targets.

For the next trip to the range try using used milk, juice or laundry jugs. Filled with water you get the same instant effect of glass. Heck even aluminum cans.

Nice pics and a cool outing for sure!

What camera you using? How did you capture the bottle breaking?

Very cool!

Just curious , but how old and what grain loads? My little one has a cow hunt coming up at the end of November and have toyed the thought of light recoil loads for the /06, other wise her .243 but would like to use the /06 if she can handle it...

RioHuntNutt, I can't speak for TripleK, but I've used the light recoil loads for my daughter and was pretty happy. We have several rifles including a .243 (w/ muzzle break) and a .308.

My daughter prefered the reduced recoil .308 loads to the standard .243.

Just my two cents.....
