General season buck

This is my first post on Monster Muleys. I usually just read the post and look at the pics but this year I finally have something to post about. I killed this buck with a Utah general season tag that I drew with my fifth choice. After limited spotting time and indecision on whether to make the 2 ? hour drive from camp to my area opening morning I was lucky enough see this deer let alone harvest it. I am not a trophy hunter, I usually hunt for fun and meat. Any ideas on what he could score.

Awesome buck, that thing is a stud!
A public land buck like that is pretty rare these days
And a much more respected trophy than any private land money buck!
Way to make it happen!

Dang, that buck is fantastic. Great character and he's got some serious size! I'd second AZ's guess. I would think he's somewhere in that region.

Beautiful deer! I would guess 185 to 190. Congrats!

I'd best be putting in for a fifth choice unit!
That is a dandy buck, even in a limited entry unit.
Congratulations.
I wager it is north of 190 inches!

great buck!
I think it will be very close to 200" gross
I'm guessing next year the unit you killed this buck in will no longer be your 5th choice.

Congratulations on a great buck. I'd put him at under 200, and would love to hear what he tapes to when you get the chance.

Awesome buck. One of the best looking this year. Even better that it was on a general unit tag. I'd say definitely north of 205". Congrats on a buck of a lifetime.

Tremendous buck! lots of extra's on an already BIG frame! Hard to tell with out a side or angle view on length of main beams, they look really long though. 195-205 gross, Congrats!

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

I'll tell you wahat he scores, he scores HOLY SHITTTTTTT. What a beauty. Congrats.

Theres logic, and theres women. They don't go together.

Yep......ya' done REAL GOOD. Trophy hunter, lucky hunter or it was your turn.....any way you describe it, that's great public-land deer...as said, infinitely better than private-land deer.

Holy ##### is right! Great looking deer dude!
With that mass and overall depth on them tines I would say he definitely pushes that 200 mark.

I basically scroll through to the post where Yelum guesses the score and then agree with him.... My Dream buck... Congrats

LAST EDITED ON Oct-22-13 AT 10:13PM (MST)[p]Can't really see his front forks or main beams, but he is in the 190's easy. A stud of a buck. Especially coming from a fifth picked general season buck. For a lot of people a buck of a lifetime !

Crazy good fronts, excellent mass, good inside spread credit. My armchair #'s say 207-215

Sit tall in the saddle, hold your head up high, keep your eyes fixed to where the trail meets the sky...

WOW!!!

B E A Utiful Buck. Great first post and thanks for sharing.
