Looking for a trade

The time to apply in Wyoming is sneaking up and like many others I would like to give Region G a go next year. I slacked on buying points so I currently only have two. I'm not looking to meet up and hunt with anyone but looking for someone with enough points to get me in the mix which would more than likely be special draw. As for a trade or thank you im willing to pay for your tag, you and however many buddies can come to my place in South Dakota and hunt pheasants, or you could get a archery tag and I will put you in my best stand for a week. If anyone is interested and would like to discuss these or other options shoot me a message.

Not really trying to crash your idea but one thing you may want to consider is not offering anyone cash for part of the trade. The WG&F may be at your doorstep if they find out? There is nothing wrong with taking a friend hunting in your area so that ought to be ok but I'd be a bit cautious about $.

Jim lots of $ has and will be traded. Hey I'll buy your tag and kick you back a grand. etc Not what Wy was hoping for.

To me it's not about the $ it's about 2 hunters coming together to have more opportunities to hunt different game and areas

Wasn't looking to buy anyone out that's not my thing as I'm just a regular guy like most on here. Didn't think applying together and paying for both tags was in the trading cash category but technically I suppose it is. To me I would much rather take them hunting for free anyway. I believe being able to team up with someone is great and alot of frienships have and could be made as in this case. The little I know after a couple years of research is the point creep and worst problem lies in rich guys or guys with way to much time that apply for points with their wife, kids, and grandmas sisters cousins name and rack em up then they team up with a different one each year.

I had a guy contact me with ten pts and wanted to know "what my offer was for me to put in with him?" He said he had guides blowing up his phone for their clients.

Yeah after looking at several outfitter pages and seeing repeat after repeat clients it's obvious some of them are going out and finding tags for the top payers willing to come back yearly.

I've shared hunts with a number of guys over the years. It's been a great deal for both sides. We didn't know each other prior to the hunt and now are great, lifetime friends.

I thought I would mention that you may want to be cautious in regard to offering any $ or offering to pay for the other guy's license, food, gas, etc. That could lead to trouble if the WG&F finds out about it. You never know...there potentially could be an undercover WG&F guy that you are dealing with?
