"Wyoming Mule Deer question??"

I'm new to the forum and was looking for a little help. My dad brother and I are wanting to plan a rifle mule deer hunt in Wyoming for this fall. Where would be the best region to apply for a tag in? My dad is 60 and has a little back trouble from working in a coal mine all his life so a real rugged area probably wouldn't be the best for him. I've archery hunted mule deer in Hells Canyon of South Dakota for 2 years so a DIY hunt wouldn't be out of the question.
And We all have 2 preference pts
Thanks everyone

You may want to go look around for a nice deadhead in May and put that on your wall. This is one of the worst winters Wyoming has seen and several deer will die. This will not be a very good year to hunt Wyoming. There may be a few units that aren't hit too bad, but I know most of SW Wyoming is going to see a very high percentage of winter kill this year. Sorry for the bad news. Tag numbers will be decreased as well so your odds of drawing are going to be much harder this year.

Parts of the state are getting hit bad but not the whole state. SE and SC Wyoming are doing just fine right now but March and April will be the telling months.
