Glassed Up a lion

LAST EDITED ON Mar-19-17 AT 11:22PM (MST)[p]I was letting my kids drive their RC cars in the church parking lot by my house and decided to break out the glass. Saw some deer. Then some elk. All of a sudden the elk blew out of their beds and ran like crazy for 500-600 yards.

I put the spotter on the area to the left of where they got up from. A lion was standing there on a rock. Seemed to be pretty good sized as well. The area is south of slate canyon and north of hobble creek.

Right on the face just below the current snow line.

If anyone has a tag or know of someone with a tag I'd be glad to help in anyway. I hear this is a draw-only unit?

Good glass is good, It still amaze me what I find with a good set of 15x56 on a tripod.

I used to think Swarovski glass was a luxury. Now I know they are tools.....needed for the trade.
