Me and my brother drew 043-046 late 2017deer hunt
This area was a mistake we did putting in does anyone know this unit and give us a starting point thanks

Hunted North of Mt. Tobin found some average bucks nothing over 160 in 2014. Then went and hunted 043 and found some more average bucks. So lots of average bucks to choice from. Not known for Trophy deer but I'm sure there is a deer or two over 180 somewhere in the unit.

When I hunted Tobins I only ran into 1 other Hunter the whole 5 days I hunted it. When I hunted 043 ran into a couple parties in the 3 days I hunted it. So if you don't want crowds Tobins is way to go. I just would avoid 046 to many roads and people on quads that don't get off of them.

I have hunted the range just south of I 80, west of hiway 140 I believe, for chukar.

I was surprised how many deer I saw, including a couple of 160 type bucks.

This was mainly Nov/Dec so they were more visible BUT I wasn't deer hunting nor was I packing optics.
