Hey everyone I drew a pine creek tag in Oregon and have never been up there looking for some tips on where to scout around there.

There's a guy on here named BCS that knows the unit well. I scouted it for elk a few years ago and didn't see much for mule deer. Saw some cool Whitetails on private though. Good luck! ----SS

1+ on contacting BCS..helped me with info a bear hunt in Oregon 3 years ago in that unit..great guy..Danny B

Lots of big steep country. lots of the easy hunting is private. some decent bucks are taken each year.



The good news is the tag numbers were cut so hunter pressure will be light, the bad news is the reason they cut the tags was an AWFUL winter with heavy winter kill. plan to hunt hard.
