I live in Wyoming but have hunted that country a few times. We had friends who used to own the Lida Ranch. Spent lots of time there in my youth.
I'd say you'll get bored if you stay in one place that long. It is big country. Bucks could be in a fair number of places. I always thought water was a key, but I saw bucks 3-4 miles from water just at daylight. There's good country both north and south of the highway.
If your dates are set, that's great. But I wouldn't be scared to spend Thanksgiving week there. Later might be better for the rut and cooler/colder weather.
I'd focus on areas that have lots of bitterbrush or cliff rose. Seems like feed is the key.
