He's still growing. He will be a lot bigger than your buck from last year, but not as many points.

Well his ears are wider than the main beam so I would not give him even 24 inches. Score in velvet is tricky, I'm betting maybe 180 after he sheds the velvet but he is still growing.
If he keeps scratching like that he'll have kickers.

He is a GREAT looking 4 point. He has a great symmetrical frame. But he won't make 180 finished. I'd let him walk, roll the dice that he'd make it to next year and be in the same area next year but much bigger.

This buck looks like a twin that my 17 year old son shot last year.
26 inches wide around 175 gross when done growing.

I think he will be around 28 when he is finished out, but that might be a little generous. I still think he grosses over 180. My wife and 12 year old son will have a hard time keeping their finger off the trigger. I'm still looking for a giant to go after. we have only looked over 5 bucks and this was the biggest.

The buck shown below was with him has better points and looks good from the side, but then he looked at us and the pictures below tell the story on him.

I think he'll break 180 when done. Eyeguards are great. From what I've seen, he's a taker dude. Good looking buck.
