2017 NV rifle mule deer

LAST EDITED ON Nov-12-17 AT 05:20PM (MST)[p]Here is my 2017 NV rifle mule deer I was lucky enough to take. We saw him on the first day, videoed, passed. Figured he'd be easy to take. Ended up taking him on the last day after we chasing him around for 2.5 days. Taken on 10/10/17. I hunted with Greg Krogh. Really fun to hunt and be in camp with him and Jeff. Hunting 1x1 with Greg for 6 days was great and I learned quite a bit.

I don't want to sound like an a$$ but man you got to be crazy to pass him! Lol. I know it all depends on the tag in hand but even with one 200" on the wall I'm not sure I could do it. Good for you

If you hunt 231 with Greg you go with what the man says it seems to be his unit of choice so he knows what's going on.

I wanted to enjoy the hunt and take it all in, and I'd seen scouting photo's of other deer we were potentially after. First day, at noon, we saw him in his bed. I didn't want to end the hunt so early. I'm not arrogant or too good and saying - "oh I passed this buck". I just wasn't ready to end it so early and knew the potential of the area as well.
