2017 Buck(s)

I had 4 mule deer tags this year. Wyoming was a bust. The same drainage we saw 37 bucks in last year we saw ?0? bucks this year. It was region H. If I would have known it was going to be that bad then I wouldn't even have put in. I felt bad for the deer. I knew there was a tough winter, but they should have probably issued little to none of them.

Next up was Idaho. I took my 81 year old dad with me. We hadn't hunted deer together since probably 1992 or so when I was twelve.

I found a decent buck the night before the opener and he wasn?t far from there the next morning. Great weather. Easy packout and I couldn't have asked for anything more:

All the deer I killed this year were with the Bergara B14 hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor pushing an ELDX 143 grain behind 44 grains of H4350. Can?t recommend this setup enough. Ill load more pics and stories later.

I had Marsh taxidermy in Coalville do my euros. I've never seen someone take such time and pay attention to the details like he did.

To say they look great is an understatement. If you need skull work done he's the best I've seen.
