I am newish here but love it. Cool to find so many other good guys from Utah. Can someone tell me the story on this buck? I mean it just seems almost unbelievably big. Is this real?

I would also have to say that it is unreal looking. And judging from that guy?s clothing and that barren landscape and the fact that that is just the deer skin that isn't your typical kill seen photo. I don't know why he would even get down on the ground with it and risk getting his clothes dirty?

I think it is a carving photo shopped, but it's been a long time since I saw it last.

Can't be Ted Turner's ranch. I'm pretty sure that's the Gulf of Oman in the background.

I am here in Salt Lake City. I guess the shore of the Great Salt Lake looks like the Middle East. I know, the shoreline of what? It almost looks like the bucks right antler is sitting on his head funny.

If you zoom in that pic really close and notice where the left antler attaches to the head there is definitely something funky going on there. It looks like he has a shaved head around antler bases kind of like a Mohawk. The antlers don't really look natural to me either.

I know that a lot of people here won't believe it, but not every big buck killed makes it way to the internet.

That being said I don't know if that photo is real or not. Does look like a set some guy known for carving them does.

This picture made the rounds about 10-15 years ago when we used to get random hunting photos by email. It was fake but I don't recall the actual story that someone dug up.
