dilemma

So, my hunting buddy and I are contemplating doing the Dedicated Hunter program. weighing the pros and cons. Not concerned with the two deer in three year thing, would be happy with one mature decent size buck in three years. The con's to me are having to hunt the same unit for three years. Also would like to get the work projects done in four 8 hour days, not five or six plus days. Haven't been in the program since 2001, not sure how the projects are done these days. Any comments or insight would be greatly appreciated.

You have to go online and look at the projects and arrange them with the corrdinator that's the hardest thing about the program is getting the hours set up they only take a set amount of volunteers on each project

It takes years to learn a unit and hunting the same unit and learning about it will increase your chance of harvesting a nice buck. I have been on the same unit now for awhile and I'm still learning more about it every year.
