Colorado Unit 74 early rifle private info.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this hunt this year. I've only hunted unit 43, and 47 muzzy and archery. I think I have all the basins memorized as I've been looking at google earth for months. I'm hoping for some help in Private Messages from guys that have hunted it before. Living on the east coast, I'll only be able to scout 4 or 5 days before the hunt. I've been looking at the La plata mountain range, and the area towards Silverston and west. I know there's several guys with information and I'd like to just talk about their experiences. I also know the new guy doesn't get a whole lot of love here. I'll be using a pile of points, so I want to make the best of it.

Thanks WiscoKid...anyone else care to help a fellow out? I'll report back on what I learn. Not afraid to put the work in once I get there, but hoping to learn as much as possible before hand.

I hunted the unit a few years ago during early archery. Wish I would have had an early rifle tag. Saw some really good deer. Give me a call and we can discuss.

Landon, Just wondering if you drew this tag and if so, how did the hunt go? How many points did you use? I'm also thinking of putting in for this in 2019. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks
