LAST EDITED ON Apr-01-18 AT 10:41PM (MST)[p]Hi,
I moved out west a few years ago. I was lucky enough to get a tag on my first year applying in Nevada. Even more lucky I got a buck! 162" buck in Unit 10 early rifle. 6 days and 30 miles of hiking.

I basically learned everything about mule deer hunting from reading Jack O'Connor.

Interestingly enough, this was the first mule deer buck I ever laid eyes on in my whole life, and I shot him!

The whole experience of the hunt was amazing. I had a friend with me that had never hunted deer before, just a few cow elk group hunts.

The stalk I had to do was amazing!

Looking forward to hunting this coming season!

Welcome! So, you've killed every buck you've ever seen. That's a good average, and a good start!

What bike is that? It looks interesting.

Haha...+1 Eel. Congrats on a fine buck ! Keep up the good work and most importantly enjoy enjoy the chase. Chip

Nice buck! Do you have another angle to see the ?buckcycal? from?

Do you ride around on it like that? If so that makes a much better statement than
the antler stickers you see on the back of every other truck now days.

LOL That's what I was thinking--Not a bad average!!

Welcome to the West. It's not without it's share of frustrations, but also the backdrop to some incredible moments outdoors.

My biggest worry is that after I'm dead my wife will sell my hunting gear for what I told her I paid for it!
