"Idaho-washington Backcountry muleys"

Hey all,

First time long time here.
I've never hunted Idaho deer before. Mostly due to knowing how people can take seeing Washington plates at their favorite trailhead. If anyone wants some general info swap about Washington high buck wilderness hunt for a little direction on Idaho let me know. Iv been looking at taking off around Stanley Idaho for some elk-deer scouting. Just wondering if this could be decent or am I way off? I'll put in the work just wondering if it's decent starting point. Mostly looking for a area that has plenty of room so I don't croud the local hunters. Thanks for any help.

Are Washington plates bad too? I thought my California plates were the devil. Ha ha.

Actually Iíve never encountered any problems, but I know how they must feel when the out of state plates or the 1A plates show up in their back yard.

Ya you probably have the worst of the 2 plates. I'll just try parking well out of the way with plenty of dirt on the plates and hopefully not get noticed.

I find a pretty direct correlation between the amount of time guys spend worrying about what license plates other hunters have and their own success as hunters. I personally just avoid the roads as much as possible and spend more of my time counting game animals.
