If he puts on a lil tine length... maybe look for something with a bit more mass and come back for him if he s patterened. He d be a nice backup plan for sure.

Based on the area I drew, not even a second guess. But because my hunt is for both September and January, I might wait for him to strip his velvet...

Geezzz Founder,
These posts are ridiculous for hack bow hunters like most of us!
Of course he would be in trouble (well at least he'd get a stick sent his way)! :) :)

I don't know where these guys that say they would pass hunt, but I think where MOST of us hunt he hits the dirt without a second glance.

The variable would be the tag in your pocket. Can't kill a 200 if you always shoot the first 160 you see.

I've passed dozens of 160 class bucks over the years; many over 170. Not that I'm a big score guy; I'm not. If I see one that trips my trigger, I'll try to kill him.

That buck just doesn't do it for me. But if I killed him( which I would on the last day or two), I would not be unhappy with him!

Where I hunt 160 = 200 the few 200" deer we have get killed by the local inbreeds in Dec. and Jan. while cruising around with their Bud Lite and one of those big lights that make em just stand right there.

Ok, what did you do with the real Perry?

(Get ready for change because it's going to happen!)

Lol. You'll get that on some of the bigger projects... OTC idaho tag= shooter. LE utah tag= pass

Haha... He's a great buck, but just now what I'm looking for in my last Mule Deer buck. You know that 'wow' factor you often talk about Kobe? This buck just doesn't have that for me at this point in my hunting life. It's the real me ;-)

If had worked hard to find him, He would be a taker, BUT If I know that there is a bigger buck around that area I would hold off.
Last days he would be a taker.

It usually depends on the wow factor hits me when I see him. Knee surgery this year will probably decrease time in the field. He's a nice buck. Why not?
