Won a Muley Hunt

A couple/3 weeks back I got a call from the MDF. At first I thought it was a spam call, glad I didn't hang up because it looks like I won a hunt with R and K in Central Utah near Price. This was the "ultimate hunt giveaway" that they had the big raffle going at the Expo last February. I already had a pretty full plate with a LE elk tag, and a Wyoming moose tag. My September will be packed!! Any body hunt with R and K?

Big Congrats. It should be a fun hunt with a chance for a good buck. See them on TV quite a bit and they have lots of celebrities. Watch for Tiffany for us!

From my experience...If you have deep pockets, or are a television celebrity they treat you pretty good. Unfortunately I am neither and it showed how I was treated

Thank you guys, very much appreciated. I guess it can't be much rougher on me than sleeping in a tent, in grizzly country, by myself (moose hunt).

I used to work with Dr Kimball, R (Richins)& K (Kimball) Outfitters. He's one of the friendliest most selfless individuals I know. At the end of the season I enjoyed listening to the hunting stories he would share about his clients hunts.

Not sure how much he is involved in the operations any more. I have talked to 4 people so far. I am down near Price on a property they have down there. Good to know and I am excited.

It's more known for it's elk hunting, but there are a few good bucks in that area. Early September through mid October is a tough time to hunt for them though. If you're there in that time frame I'll probably see you down there.
