Some Prospect

Sean seems to get it done year in year out. His track record is astounding. As far as I know all have been OTC archery tags on Public ground, but I could be mistaken. Guy is a killing machine and does the work. Hard to argue with the results. Congrats again Sean. I look forward to seeing what you not only turn up, but are able to harvest each year.

Wow. It's amazing how much his front forks developed this year. I would never have thought every year having crab claw forks they could end up nice. Great buck.

Was that the hook cheater buck? I saw a buck last year in November that had some hook cheater and real weak front forks. I know Sean had video of the buck. I was wondering if this was him. After seeing that buck last year, I was a fool not to pick the archery tag in that area this year and go find him.
I don't know for if it's the same buck, but quite likely. If it is, then his front forks definitely blew up.

From about July 2018 until he was taken, I bet the hunter was in a high state of anxiety?.thinking of all the things that could go wrong. I know I would be....lol

I'm guessing either you or Longun know better than the other about where this deer was killed.

I would like to just mention that killing a deer on public ground that is accessed through private, is the same as private in my book.

That said, I don't believe Sean does that. I think he just gets into the farthest, steepest, nastiest parts of Utah to get these deer. He has time, energy, and deer knowledge that most of us don't have. And he puts it to exceptional use. And, I hope I'm right about that.

This Morgan guy puts me to shame.
I've been hunting muleys for over 50 years and I've never seen a public land giant like that acting so much like he doesn't have a care in the world.
This guy is getting outstanding video of this Buck in full sunlight in open country jumping from rock to rock and licking and scratching and feeding like he has never been hunted.
Almost looks like he is in a park or a refuge Or possibly on a ski resort property.
All of the bucks of that caliber that I have ever found were in poor light conditions and usually disappearing into the timber before I could really get my camera set up good.
Even Brian Latturner has never showed any video of that quality of bucks so relaxed in broad daylight.
And then it's amazing that this guy was able to kill it with a bow.
Were there any other Utah hunters able to find this buck on public ground or was this Morgan guy the only one that was able to see him in such open broad daylight conditions?

Bugelboy was a cool kid when he would post on here as Bugleboy. Now it seems he's too cool for school. I guess that what happens when you become a big buck killing Facebook, instagram and YouTube star.

I use to really enjoy reading adout him and his dogs waterfowling adventures. Seems he put in the same hardwork and determination chasing geese on the GSL as he does muleys now.

That country looks super rocky. To me it looks like the canyon with the two best ski areas in Utah. Just a guess tho.

Yer all haters. Don?t know him personally, I am sure that if most of us put the same effort Sean does year after year you could maximize your luck too. He has Taken some impressive animals.

I don't do videos, and very seldom do I do pictures even.

But this buck was on public ground.

Ground any one of us could access and hunt.

Congrats to Sean on another smoker buck.

I use to see him talking on the Refuge fourms talking duck hunting while he was in high school years ago. Then I saw him post up here as bugleboy. It's been fun to fallow him. But I guess he has gotten to big for his bruches to post up anymore. He sure is a huntin fool.
