The same way you would any other time. Use your optics, be out early, stay late. Big bucks get very hard to find in October. Some will go completely nocturnal and find a hole to crawl into until the rut. That being said most are still up and moving, just have to catch them at the right time. Good luck, mature October Muleys are stunning, that time of year I believe the species are at there physical and visual best. They are an awesome critter, wish there were more around.
